Riverfront

I was actually quite enamored with the riverfront, despite the fact it was a pretty miserable and cold day. I was fascinated by the juxtaposition of old and new buildings, and tried to capture the architecture in my illustrations.

I mostly focused on the experience while I was out, and wound up drawing later from photos. It was a fun experience, and felt like an adventure because of how far we wandered and interesting things that we discovered.

The most interesting experience was wandering across the stone bridge, and encountering a group of ducks down by the river (as well as finding some crawfish missing their tails). I think that was probably the highlight of my experience, and I felt the need to document that in my last page.
